I absolutely LOVED having my family here. Seeing my mama, sister, brother and aunts with Neema was an indescribable feeling. I think it can be easy to take family for granted when you see them everyday or they are just 10 minutes down the road. Now that I have this baby, sometimes I tear up just thinking how hard it is that they are missing so much of her preciousness! The little things she says or does. The way she calls me baby and sweetie. The way after every meal even if we are in a restaurant she tilts her little head and says "Thank you for cooking." And her little dance moves which were a big hit. She jumps and then shakes her booty. She is actually really good at it. She had all of us down in the den one night jumping up and down and singing "shake shake shake.....shake your booty!!" As we said goodbye, there were some tears..we were so sad to see everyone leave. Neema held me tight and said, "im here. i wont leave you. Dont worry mama, I won't break your heart." Ahhh she kills me!
Still with no return date in sight, I have committed to myself, I must take more pictures. Pictures of her life that is just passing me by. Everyday she says and does something new. I don't want to forget these moments that touch me through out the day. I can't forget. So here are a few photos of us just living life. Everyday mundane things but are anything but ordinary to me. This is Neema. This is my world. How sweet it is.......
Love when she sleeps. She is just so delicious all sprawled all over the place! I have to surround her with pillows so she doesn't fall out of the bed.
Love how nuggly she is when she wakes up. She will curl into a little ball and sometimes even fall back asleep. She is the sweetest during that time. Never one who is fond of being still, the mornings and after nap are my favorite because she is just loving.
